Notice what Mister Barnes tells us that we should specifically note, “One of the first duties of those who are newly converted to God, and a duty in which they delight, is to proclaim to others what they have seen and felt.”. This folks, is witnessing plain and simple. If it is a duty in which we should delight, why is people’s witnessing to others so matter of fact and which can become argumentative? Could this be caused by us not witnessing in a PROPER WAY at the PROPER TIME?

Even though Jesus would be found in an animal stall the sign they were given was so blatant that they could not miss Jesus when they saw Him. They would know for sure, despite any heavenly sign or imparted Godly knowledge to them, that this babe in swaddling clothes was undeniably Jesus Christ, known also as the Son of God and the Son of Man because of His unique birth.

Taxes were being collected which brought many people both single and married to this inn. Some couples with children. So the Father made sure that His Son would be identifiable without objection. Notice, they would never have thought to have looked for him in such a place as a manger in an animal stall.
